B4E Global Summit Competition

What's B4E?

B4E, the Business for Environment Global Summit, calls itself "the world's leading international conference for dialog and business-driven action for the environment." The annual summit addresses environmental challenges facing the world. Its agenda focuses on resource efficiency, renewable energies, new business models, and climate policy and strategies.

CEOs and senior executives join leaders from government, international agencies, NGOs, and media to discuss environmental issues, forge partnerships and explore innovative solutions for a greener future.

This year's summit is in Jakarta. It lasts for two days - April 28-29 - but on the day before there is also a "pre-summit" meeting with a range of seminars.

Among topics this year will be : rethinking business to provide solutions for the planet, economics of ecosystems and biodiversity, future fuels, green buildings, renewable energy, smart grids, sustainable forestry and agriculture, smart systems, REDD+, sustainable business in Asia and the role of the media in advancing solutions.
